On the afternoon of Sunday November 28, 2021 we lost a valued member of the JLT Family. Truck 501, succumbed to a fire at our yard. Despite being equipped with a battery cut-off, an electrical short ignited a fire which ultimately consumed the truck. We would like to thank Strong Concrete for keeping an eye out in the neighborhood and Prince Georges County Fire Department Station 823 for their speedy response and saving the rest of our fleet from any damage. We are thankful that no injuries occurred, no other equipment was damaged and we presciently have a new truck arriving next week, so nobody’s service will be affected. We thank our community for all your support and remind our industry to be vigilant in safety and fire controls.
